Smart Cities and Mobility

The focus of the Intelligent Transport Theme is to develop new methods and algorithms to make the transport systems (trains, underground, cars) safer, with a higher level of autonomy and more efficient. New methods for fast interpretable deep learning and other computer vision techniques are being pioneered. Projects are being funded from United States industrial giants like Ford and from the UK by the Rail Safety Strategy Board.
