Funding Opportunities
accordion
Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Confucius Institute invite all academic and professional services staff at Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é to apply for the Lancaster China Engagement Fund. We will be able to fund two China-related engagement projects per calendar year up to the value of £3,000 each. This fund will be used to cover costs of networking and knowledge exchange activities led by the successful applicant. Unfortunately, we will not be able to cover the costs of research time and research support or assistance. This is an open call and thus all China-related projects are welcome. Preference will go to projects closely linking with Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Strategic plan 2021-2026: Strategic Plan | Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. To apply, please email a description of your project and budget (within one page) to ci@lancaster.ac.uk with “Lancaster China Engagement Fund” as the subject. Selected projects will be invited to a meeting with Director of the Confucius Institute, Dr Derek Hird, and final decisions will be made within a week after the meeting. Supported projects must acknowledge contributions provided by Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Confucius Institute. If you wish to discuss your project informally, please contact Director of Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Confucius Institute, Dr Derek Hird at d.hird@lancaster.ac.uk .
