Profile

Vasileios is a plant physiologist at Lancaster Environment Centre. His research focuses on plant physiological responses to water stress, high evaporative demand and soil compaction, with a particular interest in the role of rhizosheath formation on plant physiology and growth in drying soils. During his PhD at Lancaster, he investigated the effects of surfactants on water and nutrient use efficiency in crops grown in sandy soils.
